Thank you to all who came to Quiz Practice on Sunday. With less than a month to go until the Winter Retreat, you guys are doing a good job with quizzing! Keep studying I and II Thessalonians! Your hard work will pay off in a few weeks!

This week's schedule:

Tuesday, December 1st - Teen Girls Bible Study @ Sara Samples' House, 7:00 PM. Bring $3 for dinner. (Also, if you haven't paid for your book, bring an additional $9.)

Wednesday, December 2nd - MOU @ 7:00 PM. We will update you about the location via the Blog, E-mail, and Facebook as soon as we find out.

Sunday, December 6th - GYF Quiz Practice. Bring money for lunch!


Upcoming events:

Saturday, December 12th - Teen Christmas Activity at Lake Lanier Night of Lights. Meet at the church at 6:00 PM. The cost is $10 per teen. Eat dinner before you come!

Sunday, December 13th - GYF Quiz Practice. Bring money for lunch!

We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, whether you traveled or stayed at home! Hopefully none of you were crazy enough to do any Black Friday Shopping at midnight!

Don't forget about Quiz Practice this Sunday, November 29th. This is the start of weekly quiz practices until the Winter Retreat, which is only a month away! Continue to study I and II Thessalonians and bring money for lunch!

Despite the holiday, our schedule is still fairly busy:

Tuesday, November 24th @ 7:00 PM -- Meet at the Post Road Property for our annual Thanksgiving Praise Service. It would be great if some of our teens would stand and tell the church what they are thankful for! If you are able to sing, come with a song and be prepared to sing! After the singing and testimonies, we will have desserts, coffee, and hot chocolate!
(**Note: We originally announced that we would meet at the Canton Hwy. Property first, but those plans changed. Meet at the Post Road Property at 7:00 PM)

There will be NO church service on Wednesday, November 25th.

Sunday, November 29th -- We will have one of our final Quiz Practices. Remember to keep studying I and II Thessalonians, as the GYF Winter Retreat is only a month away! Bring money for lunch!

We would like to send out a special "Thank You" to the Littlefield's for hosting Sunday Night's Jr. & Sr. High AfterShox. We all had a great time!


Thank you to all of the teens who came last night! We had a great turn out and had a lot of fun spending time with everyone! Hopefully no one was too sick after eating/drinking something nasty in the "What Would You Do For a Klondike Bar?" game.

WEDNESDAY: As of right now, we will be meeting at the Canton Highway Property for MOU and the usual Teen Service. (We had originally announced that a missionary would be preaching, however that has been postponed). Meet at the church at 7:00 PM for some crazy conversation time, the famous 2-minute devotional, and the next lesson in the MMMM Good Series! We will continue talking about money this week and you won't want to miss it!

Thank you to all of the teens who came to Quiz Practice! As we talked about today, do your best, but do not get stressed out about the quizzing competition. Keep practicing I and II Thessalonians -- only 6 weeks until the Winter Retreat!

Tentatively, we will be meeting at the Canton Highway Property for Movin' On Up this Wednesday at 7:00 PM. We will also be continuing our 'MMMM Good Series (Money, Marriage, Maturity, and Music).

On Sunday, we will have a combined Jr. and Sr. High AfterShox at the Littlefield's House. This will make up for the "postponed" Jr. High AfterShox from last week. Keep checking the blog for more details.

Traveling Choir / Teen Rally On Saturday

Saturday Night (November 7th), the traveling choir and teenagers will be going to Bro. Puckett's church in Conyers, GA. Please be at the church around 4:45 so that we can leave at 5:00 PM!

Change of Plans

Teens (and children) will meet at the Canton Highway Property tonight at 7:00 PM.

Adults will meet at the Post Road Property at 7:00 PM.

On Wednesday, November 4th, please meet at the Post Road Property for a Work Night during Movin' On Up time. We will meet at 7:00 PM. Come ready to work! We only have a few more weeks of work, and then we will be able to move in!

On Saturday, November 7th, we will be attending a Teen/Youth Rally in Conyers, Georgia. Pastor will be preaching and the Traveling Choir will be singing. We are leaving the church at 5:00 PM! Invite your friends to come with you!

On Sunday, November 8th, we will be having a GYF Quiz Practice. With less than 2 months until the Winter Retreat, please remember to STUDY I and II Thessalonians! You all are doing a great job, but we need to keep practicing! Bring money for lunch!
