Meet at the church at 7:00 pm for Prayer Meeting. Then, you will ride over to the funeral home with your parents.

PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY for the funeral home. (Sunday Morning Attire -- Preferably no Jeans or T-Shirts).

We hope you are having a good week at school so far! Thank you to everyone who came out to Quiz Practice! You are all doing a great job of memorizing I and II Thessalonians. Keep practicing and memorizing...your efforts will pay of in December at Winter Retreat!

Go ahead and mark you calendar for Winter Retreat, which will be December 28-30. We are working on hotel arrangements, and will let you know the cost soon so that you can start saving up money.

Thank you to everyone who signed up to compete in Bible Competitions. Whether you are teaching/preaching or playing sword drill, you are important to helping GHBC come in first place this year!!

PLEASE NOTE: As of right now, this Wednesday we will NOT have Movin' On Up. (**THIS MAY CHANGE**). Plan on meeting at the church for prayer at 7:00 pm, and then going to Ingram Funeral Home to support the Grizzle Family. We will let you know if anything changes with these plans.

Movin' On Up Tonight!

You don't want to miss Movin' On Up tonight! We will be signing up for events for the GYF Winter Retreat. Come ready to volunteer to help out the team by singing (solo or ensemble), preach/teach, or play on a sports team (volleyball, basketball, etc.).

Happy Monday! We hope everyone enjoyed their first day back at school! How was it? Let us know in the comments section!


This Wednesday we will have Movin' On Up in the downstairs classrooms at 7:00. We had a HUGE crowd last week! Let's try and do that again! We will be discussing the GYF Winter Retreat so go ahead and think about what you would like to participate in -- for example, singing, preaching (guys), teaching (girls), forming a basketball team, etc. The more volunteers we have the better!



Don't forget about Saturday's "Nail Gun Fiasco"! We will be meeting at the church at 2:00 PM for an afternoon of fun, festivities, and food!

• Girls -- We will be going swimming at the Fauscett's house and doing our own nails. Bring your bathing suit, towels, sunscreen, and fingernail polish!
  
• Guys - We will be going to play AirSoft at Jabez's house. Bring your AirSoft guns! (If you don't have one, don't worry, just let us know and we will find one for you to borrow.)
  

Everyone needs to bring money for CiCis Pizza, which is about $7 (all-you-can-eat food and drink).

We will meet back at the church around 7:00 PM.

Welcome to Jr. High!

To all of our new class members, WELCOME to the Teen Department! We are glad you moved up and are excited about spending the next three years with you!

We will have Movin' On Up on Wednesday night in the down stairs classrooms (Bro Jimmy's class and the copier room). Be there at 7:00 PM for a quick quiz practice, crazy conversation time, and preaching. *Remember to practice I and II Thessalonians and win the competition against Bro. Michael!*


Mark your calendar for our next event on Saturday, August 15th from 2:00-7:00. Guys will be playing AirSoft at Jabez's house while the girls go swimming and have "do-it-yourself" pedicures at the Fauscetts house. Then, we will all meet up for a quick dinner before we go home. Guys, bring your AirSoft equipment and money for dinner. Girls, bring towels, bathing suits, fingernail polish, and money for dinner.
