We hope everyone is having a good week at school -- Only three more weeks to go!!

Mark your calendar with this weekend's schedule:

• Teen Summit, Friday Night, 7:00-10:30 PM


• Youth Sunday Practice, After Sunday Morning Service Until 12:30 PM
  

Invite your friends to to the Friday Night Teen Summit! With only 4 weeks left, we are still a long way from reaching our goal of 652 teens! Friday Night will be "Movin' On Up" Night, meaning it is a great opportunity to bring people in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade.

Also, we will have another Youth Sunday Practice this Sunday afternoon until 12:30ish. Be ready to practice your part, whether you are leading the singing, singing in the ensemble, playing an instrument, or testifying. The more prepared we are, the quicker we get to go home! Parents, please be back at the church between 12:30-12:45 for pickup.

Vote on the poll! We will bring the winning item for breakfast on Sunday Morning!

Relaxing Week Ahead!

Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday Night to film Chapter Three of Spirit Man. We got all of the necessary filming done, so we will not have to do any filming this week!

Wednesday Night we will be back to our regular schedule in Movin' On Up -- game & crazy conversation time, and then preaching.

The Teen Summits are slowly coming to an end. This week Bro. Tony Howeth will be preaching and the theme will be "Movin' On Up." The activity time will be devoted towards telling all of the Jr. High Teens about the different Jr. High Ministries that we have. This is a great night to invite your friends so that they can see all of the exciting things they can be a part of!

Busy Weekend Ahead!

As always, we have another busy weekend ahead of us. Here is what's on the schedule:

• Teen Summit -- Friday Night, 7:00-10:30 PM
• Spirit Man Filming -- Saturday Night, 3:45-8:00 PM
• Youth Sunday Practice -- Sunday Afternoon, Until 12:30 PM
• Quiz Team & Choir Practice -- Sunday Afternoon

This week we will be filming the "TV Show" scene from Spirit Man. Please show up on time so that we can finish up on time this week!

Sunday we will have our practice for Youth Sunday, which will be in two weeks on May 10th. Don't forget what you signed up to do -- testify, sing, play an instrument, etc.

After that, we will go grab some lunch and then have quiz practice & choir practice. Study I Thessalonians 4!

Teen Summit Tomorrow Night!

Don't forget about the "All-For-One" Teen Summit tomorrow night! Thomas Satterfield, from Canaan Baptist and the Georgia Youth Fellowship, will be preaching tomorrow. Registration starts at 7:00, so come early to sign-in and get a good seat for the service.

We did not have any first-time teens last week, so let's make up for it and bring as many visitors as possible this week!

Reminder: Spirit Man Filming Tomorrow Night

Don't forget that we will have a special Spirit Man Filming tomorrow night. Instead of our usual Movin' On Up Schedule, preaching will start at 7:00 PM and then we will all go over to Ingles to finish filming the "Fight Scene."

**Please come already wearing your costumes so we can get the filming done as quickly as possible.**

This Week's Schedule & Spirit Man Filming

Here is our schedule for this week:

• Wednesday Night @ 7:00 PM -- Movin' On Up & Special Spirit Man Filming
  
• Friday Night @ 7:00 PM -- Teen Summit
• Saturday Night @ 4:00 PM -- Spirit Man Filming

We will have a special Spirit Man Filming on Wednesday night to finish the "Fight Scene." Please show up on Wednesday already dressed in your costumes. There will be a preaching service first, and then we will head over to Ingles to film the fight scene.

On Saturday, we will film the "Press Conference Scene." Please be at the church at 3:45 so we can start filming and be finished at 8:00 PM.

Spirit Man Filming on Saturday

We will be filming a scene from Spirit Man on Saturday Night from 5:00 - 9:00 at the Pruitt's House.

We are leaving the church right at 5:00, so please get there a few minutes early. There is a director's meeting tomorrow afternoon, so someone will be at the church whenever you get there.

Movin'On Up: This week we will be talking about Spirit Man, playing some games, and hearing Bro. Michael preach.

Teen Summit: Start inviting your friends! Great job so far of bringing visitors -- we have seen 201 teenagers over the past six weeks and are about 1/3 of the way to our goal! We still need 451 teens to meet our goal of 652, and we cannot do this unless you bring your friends! This week's theme is "All-For-One" and Brent Carr from Victory Baptist Church will be preaching. Registration opens at 7:00 PM.

Spirit Man: The end is in sight -- we are slowly coming to an end for Spirit Man filming! This Saturday we will be filming at The Pruitt's house. Please be at church at 5:00 sharp so that we can get all of the filming done and be back at the church by 9:00 PM.

Mark Your Calendar for Youth Sunday!

Mark your calendar for Youth Sunday, which will be on Mother's Day -- May 10th -- during the morning service. We will be having different presentations from all of the Youth Ministries: Giggly Wiggly, Corner Chapel, Movin' on Up, and Theta Delta Tau.


We will be having two practices to go over the schedule for Youth Sunday:

• Sunday, April 26th until 1:00 PM
• Sunday, May 3rd until 1:30 PM

Teen Summit Tonight!

Hi Guys! Hope you are enjoying your last day of Spring Break despite all of the stormy weather! Only 41 days until you will be out of school for the summer!

Don't forget about Teen Summit tonight. The theme is Safe At The Plate, so wear your favorite sports-related clothes! Registration starts at 7:00, so come early and get a good seat to hear Jamie Rhye preach.

Try to bring at least one friend with you who has not come before!

Spirit Man Filming on Thursday and Saturday

Just to clarify, we WILL be filming Spirit Man on Thursday Night and Saturday Night this week.


Thursday we will film the Fight Scene, so we will need the MOUMP Team as well as any of the teenagers who have been attending the "fight scene practices." The filming will be from 7:30 to 9:00 PM.

Saturday we will film the "Staff Meeting" Scene, so we will need the MOUMP Team. Saturday's filming will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. We will be leaving from the church at 4:00 PM sharp, so be on time!

A special "Thank You" for hosting our Jr. High AfterShox last night! We had a great time hunting Easter eggs, eating delicious BBQ, and watching Josh jump in the pool!

Parents, Thank You for letting your teenager come last night. If anyone is interested in hosting an AfterShox at their house, let us know.

Lock-In Tomorrow Night!

Don't forget, for this week's Teen Summit, we will be having a Lock-In at Stars & Strikes!


Make sure you get lots of rest tonight and tomorrow so you can stay up all night on Friday!

Registration Opens @ 7 PM. Come early, register,and get a good seat for the service, which will start @ 7:30 PM. We will have a service, play games, see the latest chapter of Spirit Man, and eat some hamburgers before we head over to Stars & Strikes.

Don't forget to bring as many friends as possible! Our goal is 200 teenagers, and we cannot reach the goal unless you bring your friends!

The cost is $20 and includes unlimited bowling, laser tag, and arcade games.

**Also, remember the "Discount Program" where you will get a $2 discount for each First Time Attendee that you bring. Your visitor MUST bring their "Discount Card" with them.**

No Card = No Discount!

Pick-Up Will Be on Saturday Morning @ 7:00 AM.

*This practice is for the girls that are involved in the scene.

Thursday April 9th -
"Fight Scene" filming with everyone involved in the scenes from 7:30-9:00PM at the Church
* Characters included are: The Demons, Hannah, Jabez, Micah, and Bro. Jim Nippert

Saturday April 11th -
" Church Staff Meeting Scene" from 4PM-8PM (Later Start time due to Youth Leaders Meeting)
* Characters included are: Pastor, Bro. Jimmy, Bro. Michael, Micah, Jabez, Hannah, and MOUMP TEAM

Saturday April 18th -
"Recon and Capture" from 12-5PM meeting at the Church
